Our Alzheimer’s neighborhood is secured requiring key pad entry and exit to protect our residents from un-safe wandering. Our residents enjoy their own dining room, activities area and secure outdoor courtyard where they experience mother nature’s nice weather.

Activities are specially designed for individuals with memory challenges and are designed to create a positive, stimulating environment for them. Music and pet therapy create positive emotional experiences for our residents. Specially designed arts and crafts that residents can complete provide a sense of accomplishment. Parties and special events like birthdays and holidays are celebrated just like they are at home. Family members are always welcome and encouraged to participate in activities with their loved ones at College Street.

College Street’s memory care program is uniquely designed to meet your loved one’s needs whether they need a short-term stay as they recover from a hospital stay, permanent care or you need a short respite stay so you can go on vacation!

The Medical Director for the program has devoted his career to the care of the individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease. Dr. Arnold works closely with our experienced nursing staff to meet the clinical needs of our memory care residents to maximize their independence and quality of life.
